Heritage High School gym

After this meeting: Be sure to take the survey the district will release to share your thoughts on their plans. This is an important way to make your voice heard! (And to be able to do it with your pajamas on!)

Before you attend

Bring your questions. Wear your Riverview gear. Submit your feedback through the district’s survey when available.

November 2, 2026 — Community Information Session
6–8 p.m. at Heritage High School’s gym. Location changed from Covington Middle School.

November 18, 2026 — Committee Recommendations
The Facilities Review Committee holds its final scheduled meeting and makes recommendations to the superintendent.

December 1, 2026 — Superintendent’s Recommendations
The superintendent presents her recommendations to the School Board at a workshop.

December 8, 2026 — Board Vote to Move Forward
The board decides whether to move forward with consolidations. If approved, a 90-day public process begins, including meetings at affected schools. This is not the final closure decision.

March 9, 2027 — Final Board Decision
The School Board is scheduled to make its final decision on school closures and consolidations.
