Move-A-Thon October 27th, 2016

What is Move-A-Thon?

The Move - A - Thon is our biggest fundraiser of the year.  It gets kids working together towards common goals, staying physically active, and supporting their school.  Last year students raised over $9,500 and moved more than 2200 laps  or 660 miles. To assist with increasing needs due to budget cuts, our fundraising goal this year is $10,000!

How does it work?

Students collect pledges from family and friends in advance of Oct 27th. Then, on the big day, everybody runs or walks laps around the 3/10 mile Andrew Goldman Memorial Track located on the south side of the school, rain or shine! After the Move - A - Thon, outstanding donations are collected by students or sent via PayPal (link below).

Why a Move-A-Thon?
Previously Riverview had done several fundraisers per year, which included selling items. We have found that one fundraiser with 100% profit is more beneficial to Riverview and its families.

Our goal this year is to raise $10,000! That’s a BIG number but with your support our Roadrunners can achieve anything! For more information on all of the support that the PTO provides to Riverview Elementary, please contact our Natalie Parsons, President at
